MC has many types of electrical conduit in the materials and sizes to meet most of your applications. Flexible conduit is easy to cut and lets you make connections to the conduit body in hard-to-reach places—no bending required. Liquid-tight conduit is suitable for use in most wet locations, direct burial applications, and concrete embedment. It can provide impact and crush protection for electrical power, control, and communication cables. Electrical metallic tubing (EMT) is ideal for creating smooth, continuous raceways for faster wire pulling. Some styles have a larger interior diameter to ease wire pulling and couplings to ease installation. PVC conduit is rust- and corrosion resistant and suitable for many underground applications.
