Commercial refrigerators and freezers are appliances that provide cold storage space for food, beverages, lab samples, and other heat-sensitive items. Keeping items chilled or frozen in these appliances slows bacterial growth to help prevent spoiling and product loss. Refrigerator temperatures are typically kept at or below 40° F (4° C). Freezer temperatures are typically kept at or below 0° F (-18° C).
