Threadlockers and Gasket Sealants

Threadlockers and gasket sealants are liquid and tape-based sealants that are applied to parts before joining in order to fill gaps and create tight seals. Gasket sealants are applied to seal gasket flanges on windows and doors, or other plastic, metal, and fabric parts to prevent gas and fluid leaks. Pipe sealant tape wraps around threads to create a watertight and airtight seal with eased threading and removal. Pipe sealant liquid is applied to tapered threads to seal gaps and prevent leakage. Retaining compounds securely join two unthreaded parts without machining them or using mechanical fasteners. Threadlockers, sometimes called thread sealants, secure threaded joints to prevent loosening and seepage of gases or liquids. Valve sealants lubricate valves while providing a tight seal that prevents corrosion in gas and oil, refinery, and petrochemical applications.
